The week which commenced on the 15th. November, was organized by the Enterprise Development Centre of the Pan-African University in Lagos, Nigeria. The first activity was executed by the partnership between GC&P and Con-Edge Enterprise solutions. There were roughly fifty participants from enterprises that manufacture goods and provide services in the private sector.<\/p>\n
The theme discussed was \u201cChange Recipe for Entrepreneurship: Lean Transformation Workshop.\u201d The Director of the Centre, inaugurated the workshop, the introduction was made by the CEO of Con-Edge. This was followed by a short tea break.<\/p>\n
The second session, was started with the projection of a film that depicted social entrepreneurship. It lasted for about thirty minutes and the participants were content with the film as shown by the applauses registered.<\/p>\n
Eight presentations were made by the GC& Partners Team which consists of Dott. Nicola Gianesin CEO and Ing. Michael Sheriff, Responsible for Africa, Pacific and Caribbean. The presentations were the following:<\/p>\n

The participants were very enthusiastic and interested in lean transformation as evidenced by the questions, enquires and informal discussions during and after the workshop. The Director of the Centre, also recommends the efforts of the partnership, and recommends that we proceed to design a road map that will be a guide for the commencement of the lean transformation journey for enterprises registered with them in Nigeria. To buttress this initiative, we visited one of the enterprises that attended the workshop to discuss briefly on how we can help the enterprise to engage in the lean transformation journey.<\/p>\n
There was a lot of coverage of the event that includes, the mass media and the print media from different printing houses. There were calls as far away as ABUJA, the Administrative capital of Nigeria and PORT HARCOUT another state in Nigeria commending our presentations.<\/p>\n
As a follow up, the road map and proposals will be sent for EDC and other enterprises interested in the development of business between Europe and Nigeria. This is the next phase of our establishment in the ACP region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
